The Great Hold Up

As men’s fashion transforms from the casual looks of seasons past to a more formal aesthetic, there is one thing every man should invest in to complete their look. A good belt. The belt can elevate a nice ensemble into an exceptional look. Fortunately Dunhill has created some great belts that can see you through the season in style. We won’t elaborate on a description because after just one look, it is evident that they speak for themselves.

Arson anyone?

"I think that you should let it burn...”You too will want to sing along with Usher once you experience BURN candles. With over 100 hours of burn time, each candle is a combination of scents that will delight and arouse the senses. Every candle has three self-trimming wicks that when lit, fill the room with a savory, subtle fragrance. What makes them even better, the candles are carbon free, so you don’t get that annoying black smoke that sometimes occurs when you burn other candles. Available in over 20 scents, our favorites are Tahitian Vanilla Flower and Tiare Coconut Milk. Once you discover your favorite BURN candle scent, you will want to start your own little personal fire!

Raspberry Explosion!

They have done it again. Somehow the manufacturers of “The Original Celebrated Curiously Strong Mint” always seem to know what flavor to unleash upon us at just the right moment. Our friends at Callard and Bowser, better known as the maker’s of Altoids, have scored yet another hit with the new Raspberry Sour flavor. It has that same slightly tart taste that explodes in your mouth that we have grown to love in the Apple, Lemon and Tangerine sours. And it is packaged in that charming little round tin as well. So try the Raspberry Sour. We assure you that you won’t be disappointed.

The Green Eyed Monster

Go ahead, be honest. You may feel a little silly admitting this but we know it's true. Deep inside, you have always been a little jealous of Marilyn Monroe. And Elvis Presley. And Campbell's Soup Cans. I know, I know, hard to admit isn't it. All of them have something that you don't. All were subjects of Andy Warhol's paintings and you are insanely jealous.

Well even though Andy is no longer around to anoint you as a chosen one, you can now annoint yourself! Just send your picture to Photo Crazed and they will create a personalized canvas artwork of yourself that you can hang on your wall. You can choose from over 16 designs or even better, create your own. So the next time that little green eyed monster starts to rear his ugly head, just go take a look at your canvas. That will shut him right up because you now have something he doesn't. And we all know how jealous he can be!

What's a guy to do?

It is truly a fact that shoes make the man. And when a man has on a pair of shoes that aren't up to par, it brings his whole image down. The most fashionable of looks can be destroyed by a pair of dingy, scuffed up shoes. It truly is not a good look. Luckily I have spotted a few pairs that will add just the right touch to almost any look.

1) Cole-Haan G Series Jennings Penny – It's a classic updated with a twist courtesy of the orange and gray band. It instantly lets everyone know that you have a slight edge to yourself. That you are able to go straight from your 9-5 to the hottest party spot in town and fit in both worlds with no problem.

2) Adidas Superstar 35:NY – With this shoe you can celebrate the 35th anniversary of Adidas and the city of New York at the same time. Paying homage to the 5 boroughs by listing each of them on the stripes, this shoe is an update on the original shell toe model. As an added bonus, it also has the classic I Love NY logo on the heel with the Adidas trefoil in place of the heart. So now everyone will know the love you feel for NY by looking at your feet as well as what you demonstrate with your heart.

3) Havaianas Brazil Flag - Angelenos love flip-flops and this pair allows me to understand why. This sandal allows you to have the traditional band of plastic with the added bonus of bright colors under your feet. So whether you are walking along Santa Monica Promenade or down Beverly Boulevard, your feet will feel like they are in Rio getting ready for Carnival.
